Skills & Experience:

Jeana Rasmussen earned her nursing degree from Weber State University in her hometown of Ogden, Utah. She has been serving the nursing community for 10 years. She started her career in adult home care and hospice transitioning to acute rehabilitation and long term care. Jeana has experience with cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, and diabetic patients as well as wound care and treatment. After a profoundly personal experience caring for her nephew through his battle with terminal brain cancer, Jeana decided to focus on a career in pediatrics. She moved to Colorado Springs with her husband and son in February of 2014 and hired on with MGA Home Healthcare as a field nurse later transitioning to visit nursing and case management. Jeana now serves as Program Coordinator for MGA Academy and is a current member of the American Nurses Association and Colorado Nurses Association. Jeana is a recipient of the Rising Stars in Nursing, part of Modern Healthcare’s 2018 Excellence in Nursing awards & recognition program.
