MGA Academy’s certified nursing assistant program is an accelerated course that focuses on providing a comprehensive education in accordance with state guidelines.
Due to coronavirus, we are currently offering our entire course online. This includes all of the clinical and terminal competencies and the curriculum requirements that are set by the Colorado Board of Nursing. When social distancing orders are relaxed, we will again offer a hybrid class combining in-class learning with online instruction.
Intimate hands-on training helps to prepare students for state certification and future employment. Curriculum provides includes classroom and laboratory instruction in covering basic nursing skills, personal care skills, psychological and mental health needs, care of the cognitively impaired, basic restorative services and promotion of client rights. All students receive simulation training in a state-of-the-art lab as well as first hand training in a State approved clinical facility. MGA Academy offers both day and evening classes to accommodate student’s schedules. Our program consists of three weeks of classroom, lecture and skills training and one week of clinical rotations. Class tuition includes American Heart Association BLS CPR certification along with state testing fees. MGA Academy students have access during specified times to practice outside of classroom hours.

Hybrid class is two weeks online studying lecture/theory. The second two weeks consist of in lab skills training that run Monday through Friday 9:00 am -2:00 pm.
Hybrid clinical hours are 7:00am to 2:00pm the last Wednesday-Friday of class.
Online students must log in every day, except Saturday and Sunday, and complete at least on unit and one quiz as part of your attendance.
Online class is during the first two weeks of class and is accessible by computer, tablet or phone. Starting in March we will be offering 2 day classes and 2 evening classes per month.
Day lab training classes run Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 2:15pm during the 3rd week of the class, and Monday & Tuesday of the fourth week of class.
Day clinical hours are 7:00 am to 2:00 pm on the last week of class Wednesday - Friday
Evening lab training classes run Monday through Friday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm during the third week of class, and Monday & Tuesday of the 4th week of class.
Evening clinical hours are 3:00pm to 10:00pm on the 4th week of class (Wednesday - Friday)
Tuition includes State Board Fees and Basic Life Support certification.
