06 Mar MGA Academy Spotlight: CNA Jennie Chumbley
MGA Academy instructors are important to our students’ success in the classroom as they impart the wisdom and skills needed to help our students excel in the workplace. Jennie Chumbley is a CNA instructor with MGA Academy and understands how important it is for CNAs to enter the healthcare field prepared and confident. With a background in pediatric nursing, she has experience caring for patients in both hospital and home settings.
Jennie’s extensive and varied experience in nursing helps her prepare our students for real-life scenarios. She says teaching is her passion and offers support, encouragement and a wealth of knowledge in the Academy classroom.
“I love the challenge of a class of students with varying educational backgrounds, lifestyles, ages and learning styles. Although the curriculum is consistent, each class experience is unique. I love that the CNA program is more than just lecture, skills lab, clinicals… I admire the students for the hard work and sacrifice that they put into this accelerated program.”
Jennie is married with three children and three dogs. She enjoys reading, scrapbooking, hiking and camping. Although she grew up in New York, she considers herself a Colorado girl at heart.
MGA Academy is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and offers CNA, CPR and first aid certification programs.
